Just to let you know that we have been down to cornwall this easter and so have seen the folding bunk beds - and used them for the first time. I think they are wonderful! they are so easy to open up and put back. we dont need the sides at all - the white board on the front when they are both up looks a little stark, so I think I might try and think of something clever to do on them - the white and the metal looks a bit cold.

(This letter is from a lady who uses a Power Plate at her local gym and a Body Sculpture BM1500 at home. She has kindly given her experiences with both.)
As promised, here is the brief of my opinion on the Body Sculpture BM1500 versus the Power plate.

After using the Body Sculpture BM1500 for a week, I can certainly say I am pleased with the purchase and that it represents very good value for money. The speed and ease of delivery was exemplary, as well as your customer service.

The Body Sculpture BM1500 itself is much smaller than the Power plate which makes some exercises difficult to perform, and some even pose the risk of a person falling over when bending or stretching. The vibrations are far less frequent but still quite strong, which makes the exercise on the Body Sculpture BM1500 less comfortable. To make a comparison - the Body Sculpture BM1500 vibration trainer is like an electric battery powered toothbrush and a power plate is a top of the range rechargeable electric one. Still, they both do a good job, and the difference may be in spending more time on a weaker model.

After my first session on the power plate with my personal trainer I had sore muscles after 20 minutes, I was definitely out of breath and could not hold the position for some exercises for the required time, which is not the case with the power trainer which
appears to be less challenging on the muscles. The indentations on the Body Sculpture BM1500 are very pronounced which is uncomfortable and it even gave me a blister on the palm of my hand. The foot stand on the Power plate is softer and more comfortable for use, and the handle is more solid as well. Power plate vibrates much more per second, which would guarantee better results for exercise, but Body Sculpture BM1500 is definitely sufficient for lymphatic drainage and massage and I feel much more energetic after using it for a week.

I would recommend the Body Sculpture BM1500 for personal use as it is effective enough for a very good massage and small enough to be kept out of the way.
