The Ecofan 812 wood stove fan is heat powered and designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood or multifuel stove, this ensures that the heat from your stove is evenly distributed and does not end up rising to the ceiling. This fan does NOT require batteries as it powered by the heat from the stove.
The new blade has been design by aircraft engineers to move the warm air more efficiently due to the improved aerodynamic blade perfected in a wind tunnel. This new blade moves air in horizontal columns, the net result is warm is larger concentrations of warm air.
These fans have a thermoelectric module which acts as a small generator to power the fan's motor. When this generator experiences a heat differential between its top and bottom surfaces, it pumps out electricity. The bottom surface of the module is heated by the base of the fan while the top of the module is kept cooler by the fan's top cooling fins.
Ecofans start automatically and adjust speed with the stove temperature and generate up to 150 Cubic Feet of air per minute.
Ecofans are made from anodised aluminium that will not rust. Bi-metal strips in the base of the Ecofans help prevent the fan from overheating.

I was using the Reviber Plus this morning - I use it quite a lot and find it really good. It's very quiet and there is very little vibration that comes off the machine into the floor. You can really feel the muscles working. I'm very pleased with it!
